Gallery Vicky Cullen
When I was younger I attended a special needs school. I suffer from cerebral palsy which affects the left side of my body and have lost the use of my left hand. I also suffer from epilepsy. I left school in 2006 and went to study ICT for a year at Usworth College. I then attended Itec for two tears where I was working in an office environment. I am currently attending Springboard voluntarily and have achieved my NVQ level 2 in admin and customer services.
I have always been interested in art and did my art exam in year 2 at school. Since I left school I gave up on my art which I regret now, however in 2015 I attended a 10 week art course at Bede College. I then heard through a friend about Houghton Art Club and joined in April 2016. Since joining my art has improved and I sold two of my paintings in August. This has boosted my confidence a lot as I never imagined this happening.
